Frisco Depot concert planned

The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame will host a concert by Ahna Jennings as part of the "Live at the Frisco Depot" concert series at 7 p.m. today at the Frisco Depot, 401 S. Third St. in Muskogee, Okla. Admission to the all-ages event is $5 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Ouachita Little Theatre to stage comedy

The Ouachita Little Theatre will perform the comedy "Southern Hospitality" at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Ouachita Little Theatre, 610 Mena St. in Mena. The show will be directed by area resident Scotty Jenkins. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

WAB Dance Fusion slated

Western Arkansas Ballet will present its seventh annual Dance Fusion at 2:30 p.m. March 5 at Breedlove Auditorium at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, 5210 Grand Ave. The event will feature an array of talent and dance from Western Arkansas Ballet's aspiring student choreographers. Diverse pieces will be debuted. Admission is $5 (cash only) per person at the door.

Trivia night to raise funds for center

The Pervasive Parenting Center will host a trivia night at 7 p.m. March 25 at Carl Albert State College in Poteau to raise funds for the center. Check-in begins at 6 p.m.

This year’s theme will be superheroes, so dress as your favorite characters. Cost is $100 per team of six to 10 members. Prizes will be given for first and second place teams as well as best costume as a team and as an individual. Food and drinks will be provided.

Funds raised will go to the Pervasive Parenting Center and will be used to help families in the area coping with disabilities. The center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, was launched in 2014 to help families in eastern Oklahoma find resources available for people diagnosed with autism and other disabilities.

Entry forms can be picked up and dropped off at Pervasive Parenting Center in Poteau and Carl Albert State College in Sallisaw or downloaded at www.pervasiveparentingcenter.org. Registration deadline is March 17. Checks should be made payable to Pervasive Parenting Center and can be mailed to P.O. Box 574, Panama, OK 74951.
