The Fort Smith Public Library will hold the following FREE programs:

• The Lego Club: Surprise Me!, 5-6 p.m. Monday, Fort Smith Public Library, 3201 Rogers Ave.

• Doc Night — "Last Men in Aleppo," 6 p.m. Tuesday, Fort Smith Public Library, 3201 Rogers Ave. This documentary follows three Syrian "White Helmets" voluntarily taking on the role of emergency servicemen in war-torn Aleppo. The film is not rated.

New Start for Children and Families in Van Buren is collecting items for its annual Yard Sale fundraiser June 1-2. Come learn about Judaism

The Fort Smith Museum of History, 320 Rogers Ave., will host the next "Communities and Cultures of Fort Smith" program at 6 p.m. May 31 as part of the Fort Smith Bicentennial celebration. Selina Rosen, a Torah scholar and member of the United Hebrew Congregation in Fort Smith, will discuss the Jewish community and its interactions with the Fort Smith community.

Developmental Wings to host run

Developmental Wings, a local nonprofit working to help people with autism and developmental disabilities, will host a Super Heroes for Autism 5K and 1-mile Fun Run beginning at 8 a.m. June 2 at the corner of Darby Avenue and Ellis Street at Chaffee Crossing. The 5K will be USATF certified. The event will include prizes for best male and female costume in adult and child categories.

UAFS offers summer camps

The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith will again offer several summer camp opportunities for area children focusing on music, engineering and athletics. Camps include:
