We never stop learning or needing to be reminded of what we already know. The Senior Citizen Center continues to provide opportunities for senior citizens to be aware of ways to maintain a safe and healthy life. On October 12, Melissa Roof, Senior Deputy Coordinator for Franklin County Department of Emergency Management came to the center to help our seniors plan for the coming winter season. She provided the knowledge and printouts to direct us in safety and warning signs for hypothermia, frostbite, injury while shoveling snow, falls, carbon monoxide poisoning and accidents while driving. We will be better prepared and reminded of ways to remain safe in our older years thanks to her guidance.

We also offer opportunities for exercise, activities, socialization, good meals and good friends to anyone 60 years and older. You are invited to join us at the center at 324 N. 5th here in Ozark to participate in any of our programs.
