Dardanelle, Ark. October 27, 2016—The Arkansas River Valley Area Council (ARVAC, Inc.) currently has a vacancy in the low-income sector of the ARVAC Board of Directors. ARVAC welcomes representatives of low-income to apply for a position on the ARVAC Board of Directors. ARVAC is a private, non-profit community action agency charged with providing community, individual, and family support. The Board meets six (6) times per year to establish goals, strategic planning, financial initiatives, and compliance measures of the agency. Voting of a new member will occur at the next Board Meeting on the 27th.

Charleston Ministerial Alliance will be preparing Thanksgiving Food Boxes again this year on Monday, November 21st, 2016.
