Thursday, Oct. 27, Franklin County Extension Homemakers President, Teresa McCain, and mem-bers of the Pleasant View Friendly Neighbor Club Mary Henry and Jean Helbling; New Hope Club, President LouAnne Weath-erlyand Sylvia Fleener; and County Agent Janee’ Shofner traveled to Rus-sellville to attend the Ozark District Extension Home-makers Presidents Day.


This is a yearly event that we look forward to attending each October. Usually about 200 ladies represent the Ozark District. We had nine speakers it was a great day, lunch was catered, lots of door prizes and silent auction. We are looking forward to going back next year.


Wednesday, Nov. 9, will be PVFN Club meeting at Mulberry Senior Center after lunch.


Friday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m. we will sponsor the fundraiser for the PV Community Building on Highway 64. We will have pies and baked goods.


The new roof is on, now for much needed repairs for the inside of the building. Come and buy some pies for the holidays.
