There was a meeting of the Franklin County Retired School Employees Association Monday, December 12 in the County Line School Board Roodisplay the giftsm. Holiday entertainment was provided by a class of fourth graders under the direction of their music teacher, Katie Lynch. During the business meeting there was a discussion concerning how to increase membership. Retired school employees are encouraged to become members, at the cost of only $10 a year, regardless of their ability to participate fully. It is advantageous for the association to grow in membership due to the fact that the greater the number, the louder the voice should it become necessary to speak for ARTS in Little Rock.

After lunch, provided by County Line School, the members divided the gifts that are to be distributed to the County’s two nursing homes. The next meeting of the Association will be held Monday, February 13 at the Charleston Professional Development Room. There will be a presentation concerning the U.S, Marshals Museum Program. Lunch will be provided. Please plan to attend.
