GHS Pulled Pork Dinner
Greenwood FCA is taking a group of students and adults on a mission trip to Nicaragua this summer and we need your help! On Sunday, February 19th at the Greenwood High School student Union from 11am to 1:30 pm we will be having a pulled pork dinner. Dinners are $5 each and will include a sandwich, chips and a drink. You can also purchase a 1 pound container for $10. These freeze well for later use. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. ALL ticket sales that my daughter Faith makes will go towards her trip. I have tickets available for purchase at the store. Please share! Thank you for your support!

This event gives audiences of all ages a chance to experience the great songs of some of the most celebrated artists in American music in a one-of-a-kind concert event. Enjoy an evening of romance with the first 300 patron receiving a flower from Greenwood Flower and Gift Shop. Candy will also be given out by the entertainers to make it a special Valentine’s evening that begins at 7:00PM. Bible Study With Dr. Bill Steeger
Hackett First Baptist Church at 401 East Greenwood St. in Hackett will hold a winter bible study with Dr. Bill Steeger on Friday, March 3rd and Saturday, March 4th. The theme of the study will be on the book of Malachi. A light supper and breakfast will be served in the Fellowship Hall. Friday night 5:30 Finger Foods, Class 6pm to 9pm. Free Family Caregiver Workshops to be held Feb. 23, March 2
The Schmieding Home Caregiver Training Program of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) will hold free family caregiver workshops Feb. 23 and March 2 for those who would like to learn about caring for an adult with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. The identical workshops will be held 1-5 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church located at 2301 Midland Blvd. in Fort Smith. The Fort Smith Area Amateur Radio Club is now taking reservations for a Technician Licensing Class beginning mid February 2017. The classes will be 2 and a half hours long each Saturday from 1pm thru 3:30pm starting Saturday Feb. 11, 2017 and end March 25. Annual Bizzy Bee Bazaar
On Friday and Saturday, May 5th and 6th Greenwood First Assembly of God will be hosting it’s first annual Bizzy Bee Bazaar. This event will feature area arts, crafts, and vendors. Interested vendors are encouraged to contact the church as soon as possible to secure a booth. The Church will accept deposits per vendor for an 8 foot space.
