Want to start your very own garden this spring but don’t know where to begin? Well start right here at the Charleston Public Library.


We have FREE seeds including: Cucumber, Broccoli, Radish, Spinach, Basil, Peas and hot and sweet peppers just to name a few. Get them before they’re gone.


Don’t know what exactly to do with those seeds? Not to worry, we have helpful instructions listed on the seed packets as well as plenty of books to help you develop your green thumb.


Charleston Public Library is located at 12 South School Street. You are not required to have a library card to pick up some seeds. However, if you’d like to check out one of our helpful gardening books, it’s free to get a library card to county residents. For more details on how to get your card call us at 479-965-2605.
