Rainwater harvesting is an innovative alternative water supply approach that anyone can use. The Sebastian County Conservation District is holding a Rain Barrel Workshop at the Janet Huckabee Nature Center on April 15, 2017 from 10 AM to 2 PM (lunch included). Topics for discussion include rain barrel uses, benefits, function and construction. Register for the workshop at www.sebastiancountyconservation.com no later than April 9, 2017. Workshop participants may register as a group or as an individual. The first twenty registrants will receive a rain barrel. The registration fee is $10 per rain barrel.
