Learn or refine basic beekeeping skills you need to get started keeping bees safely and successfully at an upcoming beginner beekeeping class on Friday, June 9th. The class is free and lunch will be provided.

The class will meet at the Ozark Extension Office, 300 Airport Road in Ozark. The class will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end around 12:00 p.m. Topics being taught are: The bee hive & equipment, bee biology, cost of beekeeping, your first year with the bees, beekeeping safety, and how to collect a swarm.
