Extension Homemakers across the state are observing May as Extension Homemakers Month. The Extension Homemakers program provides its members with education, friendship. and leadership development. Extension Homemakers in Franklin County are involved in many different service projects including projects such as Nursing Home Birthday parties, tote bags and blankets for CASA, flood buckets for families affected by disaster, and so much more. As a part of the observance, County Judge Rickey Bowman has officially proclaimed May as Extension Homemakers Month in Franklin County. The proclamation was recently signed and presented to Franklin County EH President, Teresa McCain, along EHC members, Anna Jackson, Jean Helbling, and Lou Anne Weatherly.
