Daniel Elder of Ozark (Franklin County) was among the 20 high school juniors and seniors who participated in Arkansas Farm Bureau’s first Ag Youth Leadership Seminar at the Farm Bureau Center in Little Rock July 10-12. The seminar was designed to provide students with an in-depth look at agriculture careers. The week’s activities include learning about some of the advanced technology used in today’s agriculture, a workshop on poultry careers, tours of Keo Fish Farm and the state Cooperative Extension office, a visit to the State Capitol and a discussion about Farm Bureau careers.
