Fort Smith police are investigating a reported robbery Tuesday at a local business.

According to the incident report, two employees at Vapor World, 4118 Rogers Ave., told officer Kevin Bolin a man whose face was covered and was wearing white gloves on Tuesday afternoon entered the building with a pistol and told them to go to the back room where the safe was. One of the employees said the man, who resembled an employee who delivered inventory from the business' headquarters, gave the employee the combination and walked him through how to open the safe.

After the employee removed the contents from the safe, the man made him give him all of the money from the register. He then made the two employees go to the back room where the safe was. The two employees stayed in the back room until they knew the man was gone, the report states.

The store manager told Bolin the man left the property in a white Dodge Charger, and that she would give investigators surveillance footage of the incident, the report states.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Police Department at (479) 709-5100 or Crime Stoppers at 78-CRIME.
