Kenneth Fulmer, 80, from Scranton, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at his home. He was born June 12, 1936, in Subiaco to Fay Fulmer and Willie P. (Huffman) Fulmer. Kenneth was a dairy farmer and a truck driver. He served 10 years on the Scranton School Board, served as church clerk, deacon, and he was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 27th, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Steve Shepherd and Bro. Tom Dicus officiating the service. Burial was at McKendree Cemetery, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home. Family visited with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home. Pallbearers were Brad Schluterman, Jeff Schluterman, JonMark Fulmer, Max Philmon, Bud Inman, and Roy Houser.
He is survived by his wife, Nenah Jean (Cravens) Fulmer; one daughter, Ellen Schluterman; two sons, Charles Fulmer and Mark Fulmer; one sister, Wilma Jean Clark; five grandchildren, Jessica Philmon, Brad Schluterman, Jeff Schluterman, JonMark Fulmer, and Marana Fulmer; four great-grandchildren, with one on the way very soon.
