Kenneth Richard Kiser, who resided in Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017, at his home. He was born October 15, 1945, in Elmira, New York to the late Daniel James Kiser and Myrtle Elizabeth (Beech) Kiser. He was 71 years old. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Ruth (Peters) Kiser.
Kenneth worked in law enforcement in several different states.He served as a correction officer, policeman, and transporting prisoners. Kenneth was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.
A family held memorial service was at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25th, at the Marine Corps League Building at Fort Chaffee Crossing @ 7428 Ellis St. Fort Smith, Arkansas. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Payette of Virginia and Wendy Baxter of Van Buren; a son, Stephen Kiser of Virginia; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family visited with friends from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Marine Corps League Building at Fort Chaffee Crossing.
