To the person who took flowers from my husband’s grave:

My husband died last June. Shortly before Memorial Day I put a very pretty spray of Tropicana roses on his grave, since orange was one of his favorite colors. I drove by the cemetery last week and, to my shock the flowers were completely gone.

I hope whoever took them feels really good about themselves. If I had known you needed flowers that bad I would have tried to get you some. This has been a hard year and you really capped it off. People who steal from graves must really have no feelings for other people at all. So I hope you enjoy them and feel really guilty for taking something that wasn’t yours. I can’t believe you really needed flowers that bad. If you do, I’m sorry for you.
