Local high school students interested in honing their creative writing skills can do so through a summer writing camp held this summer at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith.

Students in grades 9-12 can participate in the camp held July 9-11, where they will work with university professors to create their own unique poetry, fiction and podcasts. The registration fee is $96 for day camp, which includes lunch, and $190 for residential, which includes housing and all meals.
