On June 20th, 19 Franklin County 4-H Members competed in various events at the Ozark District 4-H O’rama at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville. First place winners were Elizabeth Durning in Senior Enviornmental Stewardship and Zaynah Dean in Junior Innovative Technology. Second place winners were Anna Stobaugh in Senior Enviornmental Stewardship, Tylo Gardner in Senior Vocal Performance, and Zarah Dean in Senior Public Speaking. Third place winners were Meredith Holman in Senior Fashion Revue and Julianna Arroyo in Junior Livestock Skills. Fourth place winners were Whitnee Wallace in Senior Innovative Technology, Jeared Barnett in Junior Reel Into Sports Fishing, Zack Dean in Junior Ornamental Horticulture, and Harleigh Nichols in Junior Fashion Revue. Huntar Squires was the 5th place winner in Senior Livestock Skills. Other members who participated were Kendel Smith in Senior Livestock Skills, Heather Wilson in Senior Wildlife, Trinity Fortenberry in Junior Gun Safety & BB, Bryce Gregory in Junior Animal Science, Lauryn Mayner in Junior Livestock Skills, Boone Wallace in Junior Wildlife, and Eli Wallace in Junior Bait Casting & Game Fish ID.
On July 24th – July 27th, 11 Franklin County 4-H members competed in various events at the Arkansas 4-H State O’rama at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Elizabeth Durning won 1st Place in Enviormental Stewardship. Second place winners were Meredith Holman in Fashion Revue and Sara Stobaugh in Reporting. Whitnee Wallace won 3rd place in Innovative Technology and Anna Stobaugh won 4th place in Environmental Stewardship. The Franklin County Livestock Skills Team won 5th place – members were Elizabeth Durning, Kalli Bonds, Huntar Squires, and Kendel Smith. Other members who participated include: Tylo Gardner in Vocal Performance, Zarah Dean in Public Speaking, Anna Stobaugh in Photography, and the FCS Skill-a-Thon Team consisting of members Heather Wilson, Meredith Holman, Whitnee Wallace, and Zarah Dean.
