Mrs. Fox’s class led Rise & Shine on September 14th at Charleston Elementary. The life skill was responsibility. Students were reminded all through the week that a responsible person acts in trustworthy and reliable ways without being told. The quote was: “If you are not willing to take responsibility for what you do, then don’t do it!”
Students at Charleston Elementary have been reading The Chocolate Touch by Patrick Skene Catling. Each day, they have been answering trivia questions, participating in book related activities in their classrooms, and voting for who they would like to see get a chocolate pie in the face. This week’s winner was Officer Brandon Hendrix. CES would like to give a big shout out to Officer Hendrix for helping to encourage our students to read and for being a good sport.
On September 14th, the high school Tiger Pals and Cheerleaders greeted students as they arrived at school.
