Oct 22nd, The Charleston Senior Tigers went to Mulberry to play some bean bag baseball. Game one, Mulberry Dirt Dobbers won 16 to 12. Mary Bohannan, Naomi Martine, and Alice Goff all made homeruns. Mary is the homerun champ she had two homeruns. Game 2 , The Dirt Dobbers won 11 to 3. Oct 24th, The Senior Tigers went to Alma to play some bean bag baseball. Game one, The Senior Tigers won 15 to 5. Charles Bohannan, Peggy Metcalf, Charlie Brown, and Bob Olds all made homeruns. Charles and Peggy are tied for homerun champs with 2 a piece. Game two, Naomi Martine, Peggy Metcalf, and Judy Brown all made homeruns. Naomi, Peggy, and Judy are all the homerun champs with one a piece. Oct 30th, Bingo 9:45 to 10:45 Oct 31st, Halloween Costume Party at 11:00. Come on down for games and fun!!!

Nov 1st, The Charleston Senior Center will have a caregiver support meeting on Nov 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.. If you are a caregiver(any age) of an adult 60 years and older please come join us. This information could be extremely helpful to you. The topic will be on Information for the caregiver about Healthy Holiday Eating, presented by Kristi Cowell. Nov 2th, Bean bag baseball v/s Van Buren at Charleston at 9:45.
Nov 5th, Bean bag baseball v/s Ozark at Ozark leave at 9:00. Nov 7th, 12:30 to 2:00, Jasmine from the Area on Aging Agency will be here to present the DEEP. The DEEP program is a diabetes self-management program that has been shown to be successful in helping participants take control of their disease and reduce the risk of complications.
FLU SEASON…. Please remember to WASH, WASH, WASH your hands often. Remember that Seniors have a lower immune system than someone in their 20’s and it is much harder for them to recover. Please take extra precautions to protect your loved ones!!!
