Thirteen Charleston Project Prevent Youth Coalition students attended the PPYC Film Festival in Little Rock on Wednesday, February 20th. Five Charleston groups entered videos in the video competition. Madison Huggins and Kaleigh Cox placed 2nd in the Beginners category and won $50 each, and $500 to the school for equipment. Their video focused on the effects of secondhand smoke. Project Prevent is a youth tobacco prevention initiative of Stamp Out Smoking.
