Norman Grover Mitchum, 75, of Charleston, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born September 3, 1942, in Bon Air, Alabama, to the late Amos Lester Mitchum and Josie Mae Ella (Haynes) Mitchum.

Norman was a member of Rye Hill Baptist Church in Fort Smith.

Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, the Rev. Mike Franklin officiated. Burial was at Nixon Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lenora (Martin) Mitchum; two daughters, Lisa Accardi and Lynn Meyers; one son, Allen Mitchum; three sisters, Rosie Davis, Pat Epperson and Sue Northcutt; one brother, Paul Mitchum; three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Donnie Mitchum, Brian Martin, Darrin Martin, Jason Martin, Blake Martin, and Billy Neal.
