Betty M. Gipson, 77, of Charleston, Arkansas, died Friday, August 3, 2018, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born April 22, 1941 to the late William Ralph Hutchins and Eula Faye (Harris) Hutchins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Gipson; a sister, Lodema Ramsey and three brothers, Kelly Jack, Bill, and Bob Hutchins.
Betty was retired owner and operator of Granny’s Restaurant in Charleston and she was of the Free Will Baptist faith.
Graveside service was at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 6th, at Mayberry Cemetery, located in Central City, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service was the Rev. Buddy Corbell.
She is survived by a daughter, Glenda Meyers; two sons, Mitchell Hutchins and Mikie Hutchins; two brothers, J.C. Hutchins and Warren Hutchins; six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Eddie Hutchins, Bailey Hutchins, Kelly Hutchins, Johnny Harris, David Harris and Roger Harris.
