James Edward McKenna, who resided in Ozark, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born June 27, 1939 in Attleboro, Massachusetts to the late William A. McKenna and Gertrude S. (McNally) McKenna. He was 74 years old.

James was a retired rancher and farmer. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was of the Catholic faith.

The body will be cremated under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston. No services are scheduled at this time.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pat McKenna; two sons, Bryan McKenna and wife Jeannie of Ozark and Scott McKenna and wife Tracee of Charleston; three grandchildren, Justin, Morgan, and Katie McKenna. He is also survived by one daughter and one son from a previous marriage; Kelly Landry and James E. McKenna Jr., both of Attleboro, Massachusetts; one sister, Helen Eliason; four brothers; William McKenna Jr., David McKenna, Joseph McKenna, and John McKenna.
