Louise Hayes

Floy Louise Hayes, who resised near Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born August 19, 1926 east of Lavaca in Sebastian County to the late William Isaac Williams and Annie (Keith) Williams. She was 87 years old. She was also preceded in death by her two husbands, James Harvey Maier and Billy Shurrill Hayes; one grandson, Scout Wayne Kiger; two granddaughters, Deborah Fay and Angela Kay Helton; two sisters and three brothers. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Buddy Corbell officiating. Burial will be at Tate Cemetery, located northwest of Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Helton and husband Otis of Paris and Cheryl Kiger and husband Jim of Lavaca; two sons, Jeffrey Hayes and wife Celeste of Monett, Missouri and Marc Hayes of St. Joe, Arkansas; two sisters, Dorothy Decker and Maxine Maness, both of Lavaca; one brother, Carl Williams of Ozark; (11) grandchildren, (12) great-grandchildren, and (1) great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Calvin Ladd, Joe Helton, Kennith Wilson, Ken Weaver, Harold Lovell, Keith Dunn, Denver Williams, and Charles Decker.
