The White Hall Lady Bulldogs used a huge first inning to defeat the Pine Bluff Fillies on Monday afternoon by a score of 9-1.

White Hall scored seven runs in the first inning to apply pressure early. Blair Quarles, Emily Hall, Samaria Jackson, Weston Sizemore, Madison Rushing and  Crystal McVay all contributed with RBI’s for the Lady Bulldogs in the first inning.

In the same inning for the Fillies, Talah Hunter singled, and Ashuntia Stinson hit a ball to center field that would score Hunter for the first run of the game.

However, White Hall would continue to add runs to run away with the game.

Skylar Yates pitched a complete game for White Hall, allowing one run on nine hits and striking out six.

Sierra Johnson allowed 10 hits over seven innings while striking out one for Pine Bluff.

The Lady Bulldogs Varsity totaled 10 hits in the game. McVay, Sizemore and Jackson each managed two hits to lead White Hall at the plate.

Allison Jackson and Ashaunti Stinson each collected multiple hits for Pine Bluff to lead the Fillies offensively.
